A big part of the Global Automotive Summit has centered on challenging OEMs to strengthen their diversity initiatives. OEMs, by and large, have adhered to the ambitious goals they shared with Rainbow PUSH, which has helped advance equitable representation across numerous disciplines within those companies. We acknowledge the progress made while also conceding there is much work left to do. This year’s Chief Diversity Officer panel provides a backdrop for substantive discussions in that regard, including how to best develop strategies that are sustainable and mission-critical to the DEI efforts.
